Love Donna Flora - last day

It's your very last chance to get to the Love Donna Flora fundraiser as it closes later today (more information about Squinternet Larnia and why the benefit has been organised on the official blog)

You can also contribute by donating directly (link on the blog), by shopping at the Donna Flora mainstore, or even at Collab 88 where there's a special collaborative dress.

Burlesque for life

Yay burlesque! The best excuse on the grid to play with chiaroscuro lighting, poses full of attitude, and stripping down to bare essentials.

If you love burlesque in Second Life, you'll already know !dM deviousMind and (*chanimations. This year, deviousMind are participating in Fashion for Life and have three outfits to benefit the cause, one of which is Lady Vayne in lilac.

La fille du cirque

That's it - no more blog.  I've had enough and I'm running away to the circus (inspired by some Twisted Hunt extras from Aeva).

The corset is from the TH Gatcha at Aeva - 10 colours in total, 30L a pop. I got the one I wanted - ruby, pictured - on the fourth try, so I didn't do too badly. They're all delicious though! The tophat is a free giftie - it's copy/mod so I hacked it to match the corset.

More pics and full credits after the jump.

Two prizes from the 'If I were rich' hunt

The If I Were Rich Hunt ("if you could have anything, what would it be?") runs until 31 August, and features one of my favourite stores (The Roawenwood) and one (deviousMind) I should check out more often!

Roawenwood's prize is the Zumurrud aybed, and deviousMind's is the Diva Diamond burlesque outfit...

Slut Goes Burlesque at Soedara (+ special 100L promo)

Hey! That's the name of the outfit, not a summation of my morals.

When I'm not swathed in silks or shrouded in gowns, I love me some burlesque, so am really happy to see one of my favourite designers tackle the theme.

(Also, it's one of the most fun genres to photograph - maybe because you can have a lot of fun with props and sets. These photos were taken with Miamai's Victorian Room prop.)

Also - don't miss - one of the colours is also available as a special promo (less than half price!) for a limited time. All details after the jump!

30L Saturday at Junbug

Yay! It's a great treat to have Junbug participate in 30L Saturday, as they're not always in it.

It's a 50% special this week, which means designers will have at least one item for 30L, and at least one for 50%.

At Junbug, the 30L offering is Miss Victoria, an oufit which goes from gown to burlesque (or goth-loli) and the 50% off outfit is Miss Bourgeousie, in two colourways. As it's half off, it's 248L (usually 499L).

When I was there earlier, it wasn't too clear which was the 30L offer and which was 50% off (though if you get the 30L notecard, you'll recognise the outfits) so just be careful when it's time to buy!

60L weekend - Victorian Burlesque from Absolutely Smitten

It must be burlesque week at Silks Girl... I couldn't resist this adorable outfit that was on today's 60L list. You'll be able to grab it at the discounted price today and tomorrow.

Solange - Carnal lingerie in pink (Festival of Sin exclusive)

Something a bit out of the ordinary for me... a trip into burlesque territory!

I had so much fun taking these pics - not only because I got to live out my Dita von Teese fantasies, but also because of two great people I got to meet on my location search.

Naiki Muliaina is the owner of Blue Moon Burlesque Cabaret and couldn't have been more helpful, arranging the stunning sets for photos (all except the very last photo were taken at her club). Be sure and check out their show every Saturday at 2.30pm SLT.

Autumn Teardrop took some wonderful photos and gave me some great photography tips - so inspiring, I must get my experimenty hat on again! I've included two pics she gave me in this post.

Anyways, on to the pics. There's lots of them! So I'll shut up a bit. Info about the outfit at the end.
