Happy new year!

My first post of 2014 is finishing off last year's Crayon Colour Challenge. Do you believe the superstition that what you do on the first day of the year determines how the rest of the year will go? I hope it's not true, or I might be late for the rest of the year. Oops.

Cherry is a pinky-red colour, and I'm not sure I got it quite right - my outfit doesn't have the right amount of red 'punch' to it. As this is the the last post, I'll let it slide though :)

Aside from the pinky-reds in the outfit (courtesy of The.Plastik and Slave Dressing Room), I'm wearing the Bygone Medusa jewelry from Ellabella (find it at Genre), and another of the new hairstyles from Lelutka. This one is Evilly, and the pack also includes horns and a staff.

(The skin is from Birdy, and I grabbed it at the Wizarding Faire a few months ago, so I'm not sure it's still available.)

Slave Dressing Room: Joey mesh dress

Joey, the latest mesh release from Slave Dressing Room is perfect for nights off roleplay (or, if you're GE, maybe you can get away with it as a slave outfit?). And whilst the dress itself is quite vampy, all bare back and plunging neckline, there's an option for your cutesy side too, with the 'cartoon' pack featuring some well-loved characters.

Creative Angel Hunt: Some prizes

When I saw the poster for CAH4 up at Shack, I knew I'd have to check this hunt out.. and it's got lots for roleplayers along its trail.

As well as the aformentioned Shack, Silks Girl favourites Floor Candy and Slave Dressing Room are on the list.

It's a hud-controlled hunt, so the very first thing you'll need to do is stop off at the hunt HQ to grab your CAH hud (otherwise you won't be able to take any of prizes you do find!). It includes all the hunt locations and hints - I haven't found a hints webpage. The hud is free, as are the prizes. Yay!

Cristine Easterling has certainly stuffed a lot into the box for one of Slave Dressing Room's recent releases. Kate is a mesh mini-dress, and it includes no less than six sizes of mesh in six different patterns - all for 100L too!

Slave Dressing Room - Wild Princess

The latest release from Cristine Easterling's Slave Dressing Room is Wild Princess, perfect for panthers and any other wild girls! The outfit is mesh, with prim accessories, and features what I'm gonna call a 'grassland print' trim.

I've been hanging onto this cute skin from BRAT[inc] till I had a panther outfit to wear, so now's the time. It's Extreme Brat T4 EarthAngel, and I love the black 'warpaint' on the cheeks.

Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves: Hunt prizes!

The Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves hunt kicked off today and runs until 15 August. I had a quick run round some of the stores and there are lots of fun prizes to be picked up. Best of all, they're all FREE (not even dollarbies!)

The hunt starts at Reliquia, and you can find a hint list with slurls at the Slave blog or you can visit the official Red Silk Productions blog. 70 stops in total and you're looking for a crystal ball.

The silks feature fresh and innocent pastel colours, and are adorned with delicate roses... but oh my! they don't leave much to the imagination!

The three colours come in one box too, so for the price of one silk in a lot of places, you're getting a mini-fatpack (see? excellent value!)

Slave Dressing Room (henceforth SDR!) are having a 100L sale on a bunch of outfits at the moment.

Don't delay though, as the sale only runs until the 23rd, so you'd want to get over there this weekend.

Adding to the great value that's on offer is the fact that many of the boxes contain more than one colour... so it's like getting two (or three) for the price of one.

A Time for Light Treasure Hunt

This hunt is a little bit more expensive that the ones I usually feature, but for a very good reason - all the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society as it's part of the Relay for Life series.

So all the prizes are 10L rather than the usual freebie or dollarbies. 

The hunt is sponsored by the Goreans in the Relay for Life group

There are 25 Gorean stores participating in the hunt, although all prizes were out this morning. Check the official hunt blog for updates.
