More from We Love Role-Play

Super-quick post tonight, but a whole bagful of goodies from We <3 Role-Play to show off.

The gown is new from Roawenwood and I love the texturing on this. The skirt's front panel looks so deliciously taffeta-y (apologies for my murderation of the english language).

Iren have put out a  hair and skin for this round, and the skin includes its own matching mesh hands.

The tiara is from Tea.s, and necklace from Bliensen + MaiTai.

As always, the featured items at W<3RP are 25-50% off until the end of the month. And if you've already been in the early days, why not check back in again - a couple of designers have just put out their items.

From the woods

More great items from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival (just days away now!). I love this staff - it's a rare from Roawenwood, and it includes scripted poses/AO so you can just hold it and stand there all badass or walk along without stabbing yourself with it.

The cosy claw-trimmed fur stole is from Stitched, the sleeves are the Bette gloves from On a Lark, - they're a rare part of the corset set.

Hiding under all my accessories, you can see the new Laena tunic from Soedara. I grabbed the mittens in the League sale, today is the last day so hurry if you want to check it out...

A cry or a least a sigh or a single tear

Bleargh, I've eaten way too much and feel ill. Never mind, these prizes from Fantasy Gacha Carnival (opening 1 February) are guaranteed not to make you gain weight or give you indigestion.

Owing to my over-indulgence, I'm going to skip writing very much. Just quickly - super-customisable horns from Decadent Courtesan; circlet from Keystone, necklace from Zyn, gown from Circe, and corset from Roawenwood. You can also catch a little peek of another set of Slink nail appliers from Wicked Peach!

And now... I should go make some peppermint tea or something :o

Northern girl... or Southern?

Rushing to get this post done, as Glam Affair have a special 'cold day' edition of the Kaelyn skin out for Fifty Linden Friday (yes, that's right, it's today only).

The skin features a wind-burned look with rosy cheeks and nose - the very picture of a girl in the harsh northern climates. Or, has our girl been out under the hot southern sun for too long? Is that sunburn and freckles we see?

Soedara's new outfit, Lucretia, is a partial mesh outfit which could be worn by northern or southern girls. It's kirtle-inspired with a plunging neck, and features some Norse style decoration.

Add some extra layers and boots and you're ready to take on winter as you go about your chores. Alternatively, omit the layers and wear the outfit with the included jewelry to project the image of a high southern slave.

Simply the Best of Second Life spring hunt

Blue Moon Enterprises - Lady Rhiannon  gown Purple
I had a quick run around some of the Simply the Best's spring hunt locations this morning and grabbed a few prizes, including some romantic gifts from Roawenwood and Blue Moon Enterprises, and some raunchier offerings from Arachne Silks and House of Dragovar Silks!

It's a 10L hunt, but you can find previews of the prizes at the official Simply the Best blog. There are lots of home and garden items, but I mostly picked out clothing, cos that's my thing :)

Fantasy Faire 2013: Skinthesis II !

PETITE PHOTOBOMB! Not quite... I was hanging out on Fantasy Faire sim The Valley of Ish'Nar and spotted The Blogging Elf herself, Ms Arica Storaro, looking gorgeous as ever. I asked if she'd be the token biggie in a photo and she very graciously agreed, so thanks Arica!

In these pics, I'm wearing the Virtue SE (Fair) RFL petite mesh avatar from Skinthesis (when I blogged a couple of the other avs last time out, I realised I hadn't put anything in the pics to indicate the size of the avatars, so I've tried to rectify that this time!).

Love roleplay? Love shopping?

There's a new roleplay shopping event on the way, and I can't wait.

So many favourites will be participating in this event. Regulars will include The White Armory, Soedara, Roawenwood, Evie's Closet, Kouses's Sanctum, The Plastik, Silkworms, and Aeva/Heartsick. Guests will include Arwen's Creations, Fallen Gods, and Zaara.

That's just a small sampling of the stores involved. A lot of those listed I don't know so well, so it will be nice to discover some new stores. A full listing is included at the end (or you can read more about it on the We Love Role-Play blog.

25L Fall Fete: Roawenwood

Many thanks to the wild girls of the Village of Gimli who were very welcoming and tolerant as I took photos, even while I was floating around their sim going 'whoooo whoooo I'm a ghostie'* in a most un-Gorean manner. Remarkably, by the end of my visit there was neither collar round my neck nor arrow in my butt, for which I am most grateful.

Perhaps the fact that I was looking fierce, as Tyra would say, in the Esmeralda female outlaw outfit helped my cause (after the jump). Special thanks also to buttons, the Sa di Sani first girl (aka Freya Umia), who helped me demo some furnitures!

*Not really. There are limits.

Retirement sale at Roawenwood

Just a little reminder that if you want to take advantage of 50% off at Roawenwood, get down there by August 31. Everything that's still out at the in-world store is half-off, and will be retired after the sale.

There's a huge range: clothing, including silks, camisks, kirtles, footwear, tavern wench gown, and at least one fae outfit; furniture (including adult furniture at Splinter'd); and chores. The discount clothing department also seems to be included as prices there seem to start from about 22L!

I teamed one of the kirtles with a silk for this look - well there was a sale on; I was hardly going to buy only one outfit, now was I?!

Two prizes from the 'If I were rich' hunt

The If I Were Rich Hunt ("if you could have anything, what would it be?") runs until 31 August, and features one of my favourite stores (The Roawenwood) and one (deviousMind) I should check out more often!

Roawenwood's prize is the Zumurrud aybed, and deviousMind's is the Diva Diamond burlesque outfit...

Hunt gift at Roawenwood

I stumbled across the Freedom of Submission hunt, which might be of interest to slaves or their owners.

I had a quick run round (most of ) the participating stores, and there doesn't seem to be much clothing, but there is a very appealing furniture item from Roawenwood...
All the hunt hints and slurls are here. It's a short hunt, only 17 stores, and be quick cos it ends on July 31! Prizes are 0L too, yay :)

The Roawenwood - New silks, with exclusive lucky chair colours!

Yay - a new silks release from Roawenwood, and double yay, there are two exclusive colour sets you can win for free on the lucky chairs!

The set, called Suadela, comes in a range of muted tones, but believe me, in this silk you don't need a bold colour to draw attention... It's verrrrry sexy and doesn't offer a lot in the way of coverage, which doubtless will be seen as a major plus by many!

Me, I'm just hoping the mesh hair will protect me from the internet modesty police ;)

60L weekend at The Roawenwood - Salah silks

More fabulous weekend shopping, this time courtesy of Searlait Nitschke who has put out a set of silks for 60L at her store Roawenwood.

(There are also brand new prizes on the lucky chairs, but hopefully more of that later!)

This is another outfit with more than a not to springtime - the silks, arm and leg bands, are all decorated with sprigs of morning glory flowers.

Free silks - Group gift at The Roawenwood

Searlait Nitschke must be alchemist - she's managed to turn a few scraps of fabric into slave gold!

And, she's giving it away to group members as part of her 'Twelve Days of Christmas'.

Roawenwood - 60L weekend sale - Isolda silks in Ice

Sales in Second Life can be a great way to grab some new gear, without making too huge of a dent in your Linden allowance.

The Sixty Linden Weekends have a huge mix of merchants. I always run to check the latest photo backgrounds from PNP and see if there's nice hair on offer from Ava-Tare.

Roawenwood are back in the 60L groove with this gorgeous offering, the Isolda silk in white.

Roawenwood - Simplicity Silks in Blue

These silks do exactly what they say on the tin - they're simplicity personified.

And they're on offer at the 25L Tuesdays Fall Fete sim for 50L - and the proceeds go to benefit Kiva, a charity offering micro-loans in developing countries.

Bargain silks at the 25L Fall Fete

I don't know about you, but for me Tuesdays are one of the most exciting days of the week :P

That's when the 25L Tuesday list comes out, and there's lots of bargain-tastic silks and other goodies to be had.

Well, this week, you're really spoiled because the organisers have created the 25L Fall Fete - a sim containing 44 merchants who participate in the 25L list.

The merchants all have tent stalls at the sim with some special 25L offers on display. Not everything available is 25L, so check before you buy if you need to stick to a budget!

Here's a quick look at three of them.
