Witch in winter

I finally got round to exploring the 30L Midwinter Fair yesterday and I was seriously impressed. There's lots of great shopping there, gachas for 30L a pull, 30L items for sale, and lots of dicsounts.

If that wasn't enough, there's a whole pile of free gifts for you under the tree. I haven't even unwrapped those yet.

I'm wearing a dress (common) and leather top (part of the rare) from May's Soul Derire gacha.  Sleeves are from a slightly older gacha by May - Arcana, which will soon be re-appearing at the mainstore.

The cloak (second and third photos) is from the Junbug gacha. I was lucky enough to get the uncommon black on my first pull. The rare white cloak is gorgeous, but I've given up chasing rares for the sake of my linden balance!

The fair runs until 24 December, so try and take a break from midwinter madness to check it out.

I haven't blogged 30L Saturday in a while, but there were so many cute outfits on today's list that I couldn't resist.

(And because it's summer, I ended up in a wintry skybox on the Humanoid sim. Go figure.)

Most of the outfits have multiple ways to wear them, so they're insane value for 30L. 

30L weekend at Velvet Whip

It's a special round of 30L Saturday this weekend, with offers continuting today, Sunday. There are the usual 30L offers, and some half-price deals, with lots of green and Celtic designs in honour of St Patrick's Day.  I couldn't resist the offers at Velvet Whip, where they had the Clover kirtle for 30L and the fatpack of the cute Iris silks half price at 300L.

Plus, if you can't get into Skin Fair, you can console yourself with a trip to The.Plastik where there are more offers on skin line previews.

Last day of the Midwinter Fair

Today (23rd December) is the last day of the 30L Midwinter Fair, so if you haven't been yet, better hurry!

There are lots of 30L and some 50% items on offer and a Christmas tree with gift items, all 5-10L, most of which are transferable. Naturally, you can 'gift' some of these to yourself :)

There's also a hunt with free prizes - look for the Christmas baubles dotted around the market. Some stores have prizes back at their mainstores too.

Don't miss this week's round of 30L Saturday - there are so many great bargains to be had.

Free stuffs! Some prizes from the 30L October Fling Fair

Some very quick photos of hunt prizes from the 30L October Fling Fair. Look for the bright orange, fairly squat pumpkins dotted around the fair, which you can buy for 0L (though earlier it seemed like a few weren't quite ready, so don't stress, just move on to the next prize).  There are some sneaky hiding places though!

Some stores have prizes back at the mainstore too, and keep an eye out for some of the 30L and 50% off bargains that merchants have put out too. Don't spend all your lindens though, because the 25L Fall Fete kicks off very soon... more on that later.

30L Saturday: Singapore Day specials at Zibber's Designs

To celebrate Singapore's national day of independence, Zibber's Designs have put out no less than 10 designs for 30L Saturday, including two previously blogged outfits (pictures below).

On offer are various slave silks and camisks, including a set that could work for panthers (Tee: Brown) and a more fantastical set that could work for fae, elves,  or priestess (Phoebe silks).

There are two lucky boards and midnight mania to slap while you're down there too!

Saturday again... that  means sales! This week's 30L round is also a '50% off' day, so as well as the usual 30L offers, merchants have one or two items at half their usual price.

Junbug make another of their occasional appearances on the 30L list today... and as usual, the outfit is crazy cute.

The outfit comes in four colours (purple shown here) and the rather opulent skirt would be great for mixing and matching with other pieces in your inventory.

Shape is another 30L offer by the way - from Belissima, who have three female shapes for 30L today.

30L Saturday, May 12 - On a Lark's Dancer outfit

On a Lark always come up trumps on 30L Saturday! I loved the wintry outfits they featured over the past few months, but now that it's spring, they're offering something a little lighter...

The 'Dancer' outfit, as usual with OAL, can be worn in many different ways. The set includes full skirt, silks skirt, and harem pant options, with two different tops.  There are several colours available too, so if you head to OAL you're sure to find something you like.

Oh, the shape and hair are 30L offers too, from Belissima and Glamorous Sin respectively.

Beltane Fair - 30L items

This weekend is your last chance to hit the Beltane Festival for bargains and hunt prizes. There are some fun 30L items out, pics and details below.

For starters, I'm a bit in love with these firesticks. Not only can you use them for dancing, but just think of the roleplay possibilities.

There could be a tragic silks-go-up-in-flames incident while you're dancing, necessitating a trip to the infirmary, you could 'accidentally' singe another girl's hair right off (phew! what a stink!), or OMGAH you've just burnt down the stables. These firesticks might cost 30L, but really they're priceless.

More favourites from today's round of 30L Saturday, which is also a 50% off event also. As always, I only pick out my personal favourites. There's lots more on offer, so have fun exploring.

All the items pictured, with the exception of the Swords & Sahara gown, are 30L. The S&S gown, Noa, is one of today's 50% off offers, and comes in at 135L.

30L Saturday at Junbug

Yay! It's a great treat to have Junbug participate in 30L Saturday, as they're not always in it.

It's a 50% special this week, which means designers will have at least one item for 30L, and at least one for 50%.

At Junbug, the 30L offering is Miss Victoria, an oufit which goes from gown to burlesque (or goth-loli) and the 50% off outfit is Miss Bourgeousie, in two colourways. As it's half off, it's 248L (usually 499L).

When I was there earlier, it wasn't too clear which was the 30L offer and which was 50% off (though if you get the 30L notecard, you'll recognise the outfits) so just be careful when it's time to buy!

30L Saturday at Silk Worms, yay!

I love it when Silk Worms are part of this sale... it's a great chance to pick up some of their fab clobber for an absolute steal.

This cute but saucy slave girl outfit is called 'Pink Kiss', and it's definitely my pick of the 30L offerings I've seen so far.

(Mind you, for 30L, I think some fae could probably grab the outfit just for the flower belt!)

This hunt is is a little bit different... the prizes cost 30L, which is more than usual, however you're getting a top quality, new release item, which will be sold for full prize after the hunt finishes.

Also, the hint givers at each location provide a notecard with a picture of the prize, so you can decide if you want to hunt and pay - or simply move on to the next location.

In a couple of locations (Bearcub and Glamorous Sin are the ones I remember), they've actually rezzed a pic rather than just embedding it in the notecard.
