Courtesan

Some recently released shoes from Pure Poison inspired me to try something just a little different for this post. We all know Gorean slaves can't wear high heel wedge shoes - but a courtesan from another world certainly could.

Also new are the Zaia hand jewels from Earthstones for Slink hands (note - these are fitted to the Slink Casual and Elegant1 hands, so check you have these hands, and that you buy from the correct vendor).

The clothes are from Soedara - the top is a sexy new mesh camisk, while the skirt is from a set of good ol' flexi-and-sculpt silks. Mask from Boudoir, additional jewelry from Zaara and Lost Haven, and skin from The.Plastik.

Desert Dream

Back to my roots... silks! The Desert Dream silks are a colourful recent release from Second Moon. It's a traditional set of dancing silks - no mesh, lots of mobile flexis. There are lots of different ways to wear it, and you can mix-and-match with the other desert ranges.

The collar is from The Forge, at  We Love Role-Play. You have until the end of the month to buy it there at a discount before the venue shuts down to prepare for the new round on 4 April.

Mistress on a Sunday

Another look at the Nimue gown from Evie's Closet. I wanted to create a 'Victorian bad girl' look (a scarlet dress for a scarlet woman) so here she is - Mistress on a Sunday.

Beloved nymph, princess of rivers

It's the mermaid round of Genre, but this outfit from The Library would be perfect for kajirae or fae who like wearing silks. It's a mesh outfit, in two pieces - a skirt in the usual five sizes, and a collection of bead necklaces. At 200L it's slightly more expensive than most Genre offerings, but it's still a good price for a really nice outfit.

I grabbed quite a few things at this round, including an outfit from Sweet Lies and a circlet from On a Lark, plus the gift box that Curious Kitties put out.

The Countdown Room has opened

The Countdown Room has just opened! This is a new event, organized by Titania Halasy of Whatz. It operates on a fairly unique premise: once it's opened, time ticks away until the round closes and everyone is ejected! I have no idea how long the event will run, it could be a couple of days or a couple of weeks.

Sneak peek: The.Plastik at Skin Fair

Are you a member of Skin Addiction or the Pale Girl Productions Info Group? If you are, it's just a matter of hours before you can visit Skin Fair 2014 (sim avatar limits allowing, of course).

The event opens to the public on March 14th, and there are three sims full of brand new skins, shapes, and cosmetics. (There are also a some free gifts dotted around and about the stores!)

Note - a script limit will be enforced for at least the first week of the fair, to help keep lag to a minimum. So make sure to wear your low-lag outfit. Better yet, why not try a full-body alpha like this marketplace freebie?

You'll find The.Plastik's store on Sim 3 of the event (bloggers have been asked not to post slurls before the early access opens, sorry!).   Inside there are new special editions of the Astrali skin, the new Fauxe makeups, and another batch of Slink nail appliers with the stunning textures you expect from Vae.

The Wicapi Wakan outfit from Soedara

Wicapi Wakan is a new native-style outfit from Soedara, and one of the colours is currently discounted at We Love Role-Play. The outfit includes four different variations of the dress, option feather belt add-ons, necklace, headband, necklace, earrings, bracelets and moccasin shoes.

Slink appliers are included for the outfit's gloves. This was my first time using a clothing/tattoo applier with the Slink hands, so if you're not already familiar with this, remember to use the Slink Utilities hud to turn tattoos on.  I had to ask for help :)  You'll find loads more colours of the outfit in the Soedara  mainstore.

The skin in these photos is also from We<3RP - it's from Lumae, which is kind-of a rebranded Aeva // Heartsick. It might be more accurate to say it's the new skin brand from Amesha Jewell as the older products are still under the previous name. Lumae is more of a 'fresh start'.
