Equinox

Arabic Equinox is a recent mesh release from Soedara. There are so many different ways to wear it, as the hud lets you select between two different textures for each (and a basic black version).  You can also change the opacity of various parts of the outfit, or make them entirely transparent.

With everything opaque, the outfit is almost chalwar-esque, as looks more like pants than silks. Or, you can turn everything off, so you're left with a very skimpy outfit consisting of only the ropes parts. There's even a separate hud for changing the rope color. Helpfully, there's a texture included showing you all the different combinations for the outfit.

In addition, you get the usual box full of Soedara goodies. There's a full set of jewelry, including circlet, ear cuffs, veils, armbands, bracelets, bellyjewel, anklets, and some variations of the slippers.

There's also a tattoo included, BUT, I'm not wearing it in these pictures. Instead I'm wearing a henna tattoo which is  another prize from Kun's upcoming Fantasy Gacha Carnival offerings. I've tinted it slightly in this picture - great to be able to do that.

Soedara's objects of desire

Just catching up with recent releases from Soedara - one of which is the opulent Gayat al-Muna chalwar and the matching tiara (sold separately).

If you read the enclosed notecard, you'll see that Gayat al-Munu means 'object of desire', hence the name of the post... and these objects from Soedara are very desirable indeed.

The clothing set contains mesh harem pants, belly chain, several version of the mesh top in different sheerness levels, necklace, earrings, armbands and bracelets.

Soedara have just released a new mesh chalwar, featuring rich textures, opulent jewels, make-ups, and a matching range of Moroccan slippers to buy separately.

As a promotion, the outfit in brown is half-price on the marketplace at the moment, will be for this weekend at least.

Latest round of the colour challenge, and this one was a piece of cake (yum yum) compared to last week's mountain meadow! I had the perfect outfit already in my inventory, in the shape of Second Moon's Desert Dawn chalwar in Sunrise. I didn't blog this when it was released, so it's nice to be able to feature it now!

The Waiting Hand: Secret sale at Arachne silks

Arachne Silks are marking the end of 2012 with a five day secret sale called 'The Waiting Hand' after the Gorean term for the last days before the new year dawns with the vernal equinox.

Each of the final five days before the end of year will be marked with a new outfit reduced to a practically free 5L. Four outfits are reduced now, and another will be added tomorrow. Unfortunately, you will have to check over a lot of outfits to find which is on sale! Arachne Silks recently put out three Midnight Mania boards, featuring a variety of silks, camisks, kirtles and chalwars... and they're really easy to lock, as they're only /10!

The downside to this is that depending on where you live, you might need to stay up late or get up early to get there before the board is already locked...

Pictured below are a few of the prizes from the boards. They change up quite frequently, so you might actually see some completely different outfits up on the boards. Most of them offer different wearing possibilities too, and plenty of opportunities for mixing and matching.

30L Saturday, May 12 - On a Lark's Dancer outfit

On a Lark always come up trumps on 30L Saturday! I loved the wintry outfits they featured over the past few months, but now that it's spring, they're offering something a little lighter...

The 'Dancer' outfit, as usual with OAL, can be worn in many different ways. The set includes full skirt, silks skirt, and harem pant options, with two different tops.  There are several colours available too, so if you head to OAL you're sure to find something you like.

Second Moon- Mirror Cage mix'n'match

I had the great pleasure of speaking to MoonRiver Darcy at the 1,001 Nights exhibition... Many of you will know MoonRiver as the designer of the truly covetable Second Moon range.

If you know Second Moon silks, you'll know that Ms Darcy often creates a whole range of outfits featuring the same design - for instance the beautiful Crimson Moon series.

When I expressed an interest in 'megapacks' of these ranges, she pointed me in the direction of the Mirror Cage set, which does come in a 'mix'n'match' pack. Naturally, I couldn't resist...
