Fantasy Gacha Carnival opens tomorrow. It's already been heavily blogged, but I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek today and naturally couldn't resist playing a bunch of times.Today's post shows some items from Junbug and part of the prize from Luas.
Junbug has set out the 'Crush Rose' accessories set, and 'The Queen' complete set which includes common neck ruffs, rare gowns and an ultra-rare parasol. Luas's sets, meanwhile, are slave jewelry - but here I've just added the necklace and armbands to the gown.
In general, there is some fantastic value to be had at the event - at the Library's seven sins gacha for instance, you can get a gorgeous mesh dress plus matching accessory for just 75L. (The rares come with even fancier accessories.) Obviously if you start chasing rares and throwing money at the machines, that's your business!
There are a lot of facechains, diadems, circlets and so on at the event. Most of them are outrageously covetable, but it would be nice to see a little more variety. (Blogging Elf has mentioned the preponderance of these baubles in general.) That said, I almost went crazy for Deviance's circlets but managed to drag myself away after three commons and one rare.
I'm also slightly perturbed by the rise of ultra-rare items which, in my opinion, will not improve the sanity levels of SL. The worst case scenario? Gacha-zombie apocalypse.
