Desert dancer
So, I'm back! It seems like there's been an insane amount of stuff happening event-wise these days. Unfortunately, my SL is very laggy (is it the ridiculous inventory I'm dragging around?) so exploring is not so much fun.
Anyway, less complaining, more fashion.
Vurdah of the Desert is a recent release from Soedara, and it's funky mesh top and harem pants combo. a You get three versions of the top; in these photos, I'm wearing the slightly-sheer version. Also included are the belt, anklets, bangles, upperarm bands, face chain and diamond bindi.
(PSSST, the gold colour of the outfit is 160L, almost half price, on the marketplace as a promotion. I don't know how long this will last.)

FF2014: The Naiad
Tonight I'm a naiad... Outfit by Mermaid Treasure & Boutique, jewelry by AZE Jewelry Designs, skin by Niekra's Dreams, scales from Folly, and eyes by Musa, all from the Fantasy Faire.
The hair is a special Enchantment stamp card prize by Mina. Links to participating designers and stamp card instructions (in five languages!) on the official Enchantment blog.

Blood of the wolf
Some more items from Enchantment and the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.
First up, the outfit is 'The Wolf' from The Library. It includes the wolf-head hooded cape, pant and boots and is currently at Enchanted. Likewise, you'll find the necklace and cuff from AZE Designs there too. (AZE have a few different styles of cuff out, each with different insignias, and available for men or women.)
My other items are from the FGC, including the small sword from Raare from their dragon eggs gacha. The tattoo is from Demonic, and roleplay belt from PFC, while the hair which is specially designed to be worn under hoods is from Little Bones. (NB there is no back to this hair so it's not for general use, but you could always add it to another style.)

The dashing Duchess
!dM deviousMind is the sister clothing company to (*chanimations, and this month they're offering the Duchess C. Influx steampunk gown for a discounted price at We Love Role-Play.
It's got striking grungy textures and a distinctive shape, but with that flounce in front, it might be a little revealing for a historically accurate Victorian sim. You could try another skirt under it though, of course!
The matching top hat is included with the gown, while the boots are another colour from BeetleBones at this round of Collabor88, while the jewelry should be appearing in the AZE mainstore any day now.

Pretty
![]() |
| Yay! Pretty flexies! |
What both pieces have in common is their essential 'prettiness' - both are delightfully feminine and delicately colourful.
The AZE jewelry set is inspired by Victorian magic lanterns - a kind of slideshow. The necklace shows a rendition of the actual projector, so it might be best kept to contemporary, Victorian or steampunk sims. The earrings and bracelets don't have this reference though so can be worn anywhere!

Crayon colour challenge: Week 41, Alien Armpit
This outrageous lime colour (I'd call it "limey punk"!) wasn't too difficult thanks to a fabulous sale at The Plastik some time ago. I think fatpacks were redueced to 500L or something like that... So whenever there's a colour that isn't very me, I have a rummage in the bottom of those packs and sometimes turn up the perfect option!
The jewelry in the photo is another Horrorfest release, this time from AZE Designs by Amilia Zabaleta. It's the Yum Kimil Maya jade and gold set, and it's inspired by a tale of travellers exploring ancient Mayan temples... and the mysterious dark curses that await them...
The Yum Kimil Bracelet Set is the100% donation item and it's 200L, with proceeds going to The Epilepsy Therapy Project. (earrings are 150L, necklace 250L). Find them at Horrorfest!
