Cold as ice

The new round of We Love Role-Play opens tomorrow. Lots more quality items, all at 25-50% off. The rules for the event have changed somewhat, and new releases are now the general order of the day.

From the event, I'm wearing the Deucalion Halo from from Random Matter. You buy individual colours for 190L each, or splash out and get the 'fatpack' texture change version for 500L. With it, you can mix and match the colours as well as use each individual colour.

Alongside it, I'm wearing Keystone's Corva circlet, which includes four different shades. The stag pauldrons are from ieQED, while the belt is included with Luminary's Jane gown (50% off for the event). My spooky eyes are one of the three pairs of mesh and system eyes in  theSkinnery's Demon Eyes set.

My skin is from The.Plastik - it's another of the Astrali skins, this time in a fantasy tone. There are over 100 tones of this skin, and luckily there's an extensive appliers pack available for each.

My main outfit - a skirt and corset combination - is just one of On a Lark's 25L Tuesday offerings. It's been a while since I did the 25LT rounds, but On a Lark is always a must-visit for the amazing deals. You have just a few hours left to take advantage!

The Wicapi Wakan outfit from Soedara

Wicapi Wakan is a new native-style outfit from Soedara, and one of the colours is currently discounted at We Love Role-Play. The outfit includes four different variations of the dress, option feather belt add-ons, necklace, headband, necklace, earrings, bracelets and moccasin shoes.

Slink appliers are included for the outfit's gloves. This was my first time using a clothing/tattoo applier with the Slink hands, so if you're not already familiar with this, remember to use the Slink Utilities hud to turn tattoos on.  I had to ask for help :)  You'll find loads more colours of the outfit in the Soedara  mainstore.

The skin in these photos is also from We<3RP - it's from Lumae, which is kind-of a rebranded Aeva // Heartsick. It might be more accurate to say it's the new skin brand from Amesha Jewell as the older products are still under the previous name. Lumae is more of a 'fresh start'.

You find the poses there too - the very cool huntress set from !bang. The spear I borrowed from an older outfit from Qalma.

Super-quick post tonight, but a whole bagful of goodies from We <3 Role-Play to show off.

The gown is new from Roawenwood and I love the texturing on this. The skirt's front panel looks so deliciously taffeta-y (apologies for my murderation of the english language).

Iren have put out a  hair and skin for this round, and the skin includes its own matching mesh hands.

The tiara is from Tea.s, and necklace from Bliensen + MaiTai.

Gifts at the 25L Holiday Bazaar

You've probably seen or heard about the 25L Holiday Bazaar already (the Good Gorean has featured some outfits in this post)... I finally got round to sticking my head in last night.

Because I'm an inveterate freebie hound, the first thing I did was scoop up all the gifts from under the tree at the landing point. (I'm back there tonight to check the actual offers!) There are all sort sorts of lush role-play oriented gifts from your favourite 25L Tuesday merchants.

The event runs until 13 December - not long - so don't delay and take your taxi to the event!

Note: You will get booted from the sim if you exceed the 100 script limit (a really generous limit in my opinion)!

PS Just discovered there are even more gifts in some of the stores around the bazaar... happy days!

Some fabulous stuff in this round of We Love Role-Play. I have to admit to really liking everything in these pictures.

The hair is from Calico, and it's another fabulous style. This colour is from one of the new W<3RP exclusive packs (bistre from the Darks pack). As well as changing your hair shade, the hud allows you to tint your hair, and to change the colours of the headband, the beads and the metal dangle. I just love the textures in this hair too - honestly, they look so real.

The jewelry (Chloes Collier necklace and silver cuff bracers) from Enfant Terrible are also really customisable. They're available in five base colours, and once you've bought your set you choose from any of 12 textures, or two (necklace) or three (cuffs) sets of gems.

Round 8 of We Love Role-Play now open... and a new gown from TWA!

It's late (again!) so not too many words tonight.

Round 8 of We Love Role-Play has just opened, with discounted items from lots of your favourite fantasy and roleplay creators. This round, you will find some extra cheapies and freebies in celebration of the holidays. Check under the trees in each of the buildings.

Featured items in this post include skin from La Petite Morte, hair from Mina, and the beautiful Ensorcelled piercing necklace from Ellabella.

The gown isn't at the event, rather it's a recent release from The White Armory called 'Moors of Winterfell', and it's available in a range of different colours. I'm wearing 'Nightshade', a northern-feeling black and sepia combination!

The dashing Duchess

!dM deviousMind  is the sister clothing company to (*chanimations, and this month they're offering the Duchess C. Influx steampunk gown for a discounted price at We Love Role-Play.

It's got striking grungy textures and a distinctive shape, but with that flounce in front, it might be a little revealing for a historically accurate Victorian sim. You could try another skirt under it though, of course! 

The matching top hat is included with the gown, while the boots are another colour from BeetleBones at this round of Collabor88, while the jewelry should be appearing in the AZE mainstore any day now.

We Love Role-Play: Junbug, Calico, Ellabella

One day, I was wandering around We<3RP just before opening, and I saw Calico Ingmann setting up her offerings for the round. The vendor hadn't rezzed yet, but I could see that she was wearing some really beautiful hair!

As luck would have it, it's this very same hair that she's put out for Round 6, so you can grab it at a discount while the event is on.

The 'Clara' style is a long hair featuring an intricate braid that snakes down and around the length of the hair, keeping the hair off your face shoulders. This means it's a great style for showing off jewelry, especially earrings which end up obscured by most styles which aren't updos.

I'm off to the airport tomorrow morning, so yes... this post is a little bit rushed, but I wanted to give you a quick heads up on some cool stuff coming your way!

Tomorrow sees the opening of the sixth round of We <3 Role-Play , and Soedara have put out a colour (black!) of their latest silks at a 40% discount.

Don't miss this opportunity, as it's one of Soedara's pricier silks, the full price is L$799. However, the outfit can be worn in so many different ways, and there are so many different pieces included (well over 50!). I don't have time to show all the options, luckily Ms Pronovost has included a 'cheat sheet' which I've posted at the end.

The skin I'm wearing is from Bite & Claw - it's called the Arcane skin and features tattoos of glyphs and esoteric symbols. These are on the skin, not on layers. Each pack includes 8 skins - dark or light brown, and four levels of cleavage. Also included are a shape, brows, bare feet (not worn) and Lola's appliers.

The poses are from Musa, who have put out a set of eyeshadows, fantasy poses, and gown poses for this round.

Fifty Linden Fabulous

Oops, using the new viewer after a clean install, and forgot to tick hi-res photos. Never mind...

The Plastik have put out another two fabulous offers for Fifty Linden Friday. One is a special edition of the Astrali skin, which as usual comes with appliers, eyes, Soul Ink tattoos and other extras in the box.

Junbug's offering for this round of We <3 Role-Play is the Willow gown, a strapless mesh creation - although I couldn't resist borrowing some puff sleeves from another outfit for the shot above.

I love the chintzy floral bodice, which, combine with the Donna Flora headpiece, just makes me want to squee!

Sun and Stars

Loaded down with jewels tonight, courtesy of Soedara! The face chain is one of the We <3 Role-Play offerings which is 40% off at the event. The bodice, armband and bracelets are parts of other Soedara releases.

The stunning gown is from The Lounge - it's called 'My Sun and Stars' (supply your own Khal Drogo) and I'm really impressed with the texturing. Love it. It's another We <3 Role-Play item, so it will be discounted too.  (The event opens tomorrow and there is some amazing stuff down there, let me tell you!)

The skin is a special preview of one of tomorrow's Fifty Linden Friday's offering from The.Plastik.

We Love Role-Play: The Library and Mina

Round 3 of We <3 Role-Play will open on 5 July, and the first review copies have been sent out by The Library and MINA Hair.
 
There's another special event in the works now - a benefit to support Squinternet Larnia, the creator behind the amazing Donna Flora brand.

Sadly, she is gravely ill, and the event will raise money to help her with expenses. Gogo of Juicybomb has written a very eloquent post, so I'll refer you to it for further information.

We <3 Role-Play  is now open! or should be, if everything goes according to plan :) I managed to fit lots of stuff from the event into this post - dress (obviously), hair, skin and furniture.  

The Herbalist Worktable from Aisling, which you can see in the background above,  is cool as all-get-out and I find it insane that it's only 7 land impact. If it was prim rather than mesh, can you imagine how much of your allowance it would eat up? I love that it incorporates plants and the leafed tree branch. It comes with a hud that allows you to change the colour of the wood and turn the prim shadow on or off.

*Shack* Moxie Gown Red

New releases from Shack - and today only, one colour of each outfit is on special offer for 50% off. Today's selected outfits are a new Free Woman gown in red, and a some sheer slave silks in violet. There's also a men's outfit, but I didn't bother with that as I didn't think it'd be a good use of my lindens :)  (My male alt is only allowed out to slap midnight mania boards.)

Also worn in the pics is one of Belleza's new 'best buy' skins. The first weekend of every month, Belleza will now put out five exclusive skin make-ups, three female and two male. They're at a reduced price of 400L, but you'll have to be quick if you want one of them, as they're only available for three days!

The White Armory - 100L sale on selected gowns and outfits

Yay! The White Armory have added some new gowns to their outlet section, and to celebrate, there's a 100L sale on everything in the outlet.

Considering that new gowns are 799L and outlet prices usually 150L - 350L, this is a golden opportunity to stock up! Also... some of these gowns are not very old at all.

The outlet is also stuffed to the rafters with fabulous outfits - mostly gowns but some other roleplay options as well. (Also some 'contemporary couture' stylings.) One of these days, I'm going to count them. Or at least come up with a good guesstimate.

Bee Dumpling is surely one of Second Life's most talented and generous creators, as members of The White Armory, will attest.
