Free silks! Persephone on the lucky chair at Wishbox

GRRR, my SL just did not want to co-operate tonight. Anytime I wanted to tweak something, *crash*. So as a result, a quick post. With two photos taken on different sims, in between crashes!

These are the lovely Persephone silks, brought to you by the adorable Wisp Jinn at Wishbox. And for a slap on the board, they could be yours (but probably not tonight, Wednesday, as I think it's already locked. Try tomorrow!)

They're black too, so could be handy for Hallowe'en?

Retirement sale at Roawenwood

Just a little reminder that if you want to take advantage of 50% off at Roawenwood, get down there by August 31. Everything that's still out at the in-world store is half-off, and will be retired after the sale.

There's a huge range: clothing, including silks, camisks, kirtles, footwear, tavern wench gown, and at least one fae outfit; furniture (including adult furniture at Splinter'd); and chores. The discount clothing department also seems to be included as prices there seem to start from about 22L!

I teamed one of the kirtles with a silk for this look - well there was a sale on; I was hardly going to buy only one outfit, now was I?!

Soedara - Romantic Slave silks

A small change of direction for Soedara... this gorgeous set of silks is less raunchy, more pretty, and appropriately entitled 'Romantic Slave'.

Another point of difference from the rest of the line is that there's maybe a little less prim work than usual - the decoration on the silks (flowers, tassels and so on) has been done with textures.

In common with many of Marbella's other piece,  the outfit includes some beautiful jewels; make sure you take a good look at that necklace!

Seldom Blue - Valentia silks

The Valentia have from Seldom Blue aren't quite brand new, in fact I have to confess they've been lurking in my inventory a little while now.

Looking at them, I can't imagine why I didn't dig them out sooner - they're so pretty.

They feature a pearl beaded design on multiple clothing layers, and beautiful diaphanous silk attachments.

Bare Rose always do fantastic deals, and with their Exotic Dancer outfit, you basically get a three colour fatpack for 140L.

And they're pretty useful colours too - red, white and black.

Bargain silks at the 25L Fall Fete

I don't know about you, but for me Tuesdays are one of the most exciting days of the week :P

That's when the 25L Tuesday list comes out, and there's lots of bargain-tastic silks and other goodies to be had.

Well, this week, you're really spoiled because the organisers have created the 25L Fall Fete - a sim containing 44 merchants who participate in the 25L list.

The merchants all have tent stalls at the sim with some special 25L offers on display. Not everything available is 25L, so check before you buy if you need to stick to a budget!

Here's a quick look at three of them.

Black mood at Shack II - Delight silks

The stunning 'Delight' silks are another recent Shack release, currently on the group discount vendor.

I'm not sure if they actually *have* a PG version... so let's start with some careful cropping.

 As you can see, they're beautifully detailed. 


If maybe a tad bare. (As if that would ever put you off!)

Arachne Silks - Aurora

I shudder to think how many silks from Arachne I own.

The 75L specials, the build-your-own-fatpack offer, the store credit... combined with the sheer beauty and inventiveness of the silks, it's impossible to say no.

Here's one cute little silk I picked up when it was on offer:
